Lucera once again embraces solidarity with the Telethon Christmas Campaign 2025, a heartfelt initiative featuring events, talks, and performances in support of research on rare genetic diseases.
The celebration will reach its peak on Sunday, December 14, at the Lucera Sports Arena (Palasport, Viale Antonio Canova 2) with the 10th edition of “Dancing with the Stars – Telethon”, the city’s most beloved charity show.
🗓️ Main Events:
November 20, 2025 – Scientific research conference at Circolo Unione, featuring experts and testimonies.
November 29, 2025 – Charity dinner at Hori – Balconata 2.0, with music, dance, and community spirit.
December 14, 2025 – “Dancing with the Stars – Telethon” at the Lucera Sports Arena, hosted by Davide Ventola.
December 20, 2025 – “Walk and Run to Donate”, a mini marathon involving primary and middle school students through the historic center.
The 2025 edition, organized by Centro Sportivo Casanova and sponsored by the Municipality of Lucera, will feature local “stars” Simona Calabria, Isabella Grasso, Giuseppe Schiavone, Ettore Cavalli, Michele Notarstefano, Fabiola D'Aries, Alba Capobianco, Gianni Frezza, Milena Scrocco, Elisa De Maso, Gianni Liscio, and Giuseppe Stanca, dancing alongside professional instructors Ester Casciano, Elisabetta De Mattia, Sara Di Pasqua, Elena Ciavotta, Roberta Chiarella, Maria Pia Imperatore, Claudio Russo, Sara Diurno, Daniela Bognani, Linda Rinaldi, Giacomo Siesto, Michela Lo Storto, and Francesca Pilla.
A major highlight this year is the new Telethon headquarters at Via Bovio 1, where visitors can purchase charity merchandise, event tickets, and the iconic Telethon chocolate hearts until December 20.
The event will also feature performances by high school students coordinated by dance instructor Maria Simona Gentile, supported by numerous local organizations and schools, including Ginnastica Ritmica Luceria, Danzarte, Ginnastica Artistica Lucera, Lucy Dance, ADM Accademia del Musical Opera San Giuseppe, and Ballet School.
