Informations
A musical and cultural bridge between two fascinating areas of the Capitanata: the Gargano and the Monti Dauni. This is the mission of the project “Voices & Sounds from Gargano to Monti Dauni”, promoted by the Symphonia Pugliese Music Association, in collaboration with the municipalities of Vico del Gargano and Rocchetta Sant’Antonio, and the Umberto Giordano Conservatory of Music, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and SIAE under the “Per Chi Crea” program.
The result of an intense process of research, rediscovery, and reinterpretation of local oral and musical traditions, the project culminates in the final performances of the young artists’ residencies, taking place:
July 19, 2025, at 9 PM, Rocchetta Sant’Antonio – Piazza Maria Teresa di Lascia
July 20, 2025, at 9 PM, Vico del Gargano – Carlo Hintermann Municipal Amphitheatre
The free-entry shows will feature talented young artists: Marco Surace, Simone Ciliberti, Livia Malossi, Davide Wang, Sonja Ilic, Michele Tenace, Clarissa Colucci, Miriam Gorgoglione, Michele Emanuele Pio Surgo, Antonio Gaggiano, Josh (Giosuè) Urbani, Maria Concetta Guglielmo, Maria Tenace, and Ornella Cantatore.
The audience will embark on a sound journey that blends the roots of traditional music with contemporary creativity, showcasing the cultural vitality of these lands and the ability of the new generations to preserve and renew their intangible heritage.
