On Friday, July 4th, starting at 8:00 PM, the square of the Città del Cinema in Foggia will turn into a large open-air stage for “Ridere Forte”, the summer event organized by Bella Vita Eventi in collaboration with La Città del Cinema. A completely free evening full of excitement, laughter, music, and fun for all ages! Children will be the stars of the early part of the evening, with a dedicated area featuring free inflatable games, entertainment, and music. The Kantakipassa Kids show will keep the energy high, with sing-alongs, dancing, and free giveaways for all kids provided by Marvin, a local store.
The show will be hosted by local Foggia artist and social media entertainer Filippo Mendolicchio, bringing his humor and charisma to the stage. Then the energy shifts to live music with a concert by Senza Resa, a legendary Foggia-based Vasco Rossi cover band that’s been rocking stages across Italy for over 25 years. Winners of the Vasco Cover Band Festival, they’ve often performed with members of Vasco’s original band. One of the most anticipated moments of the night is the so-called “comedy derby”, featuring two iconic Southern Italian comedians: Foggia’s own Attilio Di Santo, aka “Passarille,” a beloved storyteller and member of the trio La Passatella, and Gianni Ciardo, a true icon of Italian comedy, known for his many roles in 1980s comedies, the TV series Il Polpo, and later appearances on national stages including Zelig.
No summer night is complete without good food: the event will feature a wide selection of street food stands, perfect for dinner or a tasty snack while enjoying the show. This is a one-of-a-kind summer event made for families, kids, and young people alike—“Ridere Forte” is where Foggia comes together to laugh out loud.
