Set up in the sixteenth-century Palazzo Vassalli, the civic museum of Accadia is a space dedicated to archeology and peasant tradition. The collection includes statuettes and tools from the Middle Ages and more recent that recount ancient crafts (carpenter, shoemaker) or the peasant tradition.
Palazzo Vassalli, seat of the civic museum of Accadia, has long been the home of the noble family from which it takes its name, then acquired by the Municipality in the 1960s. The underground rooms conceal a cellar which is accessed from the second room which houses an ethnographic section, with an articulated display of testimonies of the peasant and artisan civilization linked to the history of Accadia and the Capitanata.
