The "Azioni in Danza 2026" festival in Barletta opens with a highly evocative special event: on May 7th, the historic setting of the Chiesa di Sant’Antonio will host "The Butterfly’s Trip – Candlelight Emotions." This unique event, promoted by KoreoProject with the support of the Associazione Note di Puglia and Asp Dvorak, blends contemporary dance with live music.
The performance unfolds as a poetic journey in three movements, exploring the deep dialogue between body, sound, and vision. Under the guidance of choreographer and dancer Sara Bizzoca, accompanied on piano by Francesco Giancaspro and enriched by the dramaturgy and spoken voice of Mariangela Di Capua, the experience leads the spectator into an immersive, sensory dimension:
"Nature in Movement": Inspired by the cyclical nature of the natural world, set to the music of Ryuichi Sakamoto and Einaudi.
"In the Oneiric Dimension": A suspended territory between reality and dream, accompanied by the compositions of Debussy and Satie.
"The Magic of Art": A celebration of the evocative power of music by J. Cage, L. Bacalov, and Y. Tiersen, transforming the everyday into wonder.
