Informations
It all began in 1968 when Mr. Leopoldo Cirillo decided to create the ''Pensione San Giorgio'', one of the first accommodation facilities in the center of Vieste, in a 3-storey building. The origin of the name dates back to the patronal feast of San Giorgio celebrated on 23 April, the day during which every year, the patron saint, marching in front of the San Giorgio guesthouse with all the Vieste population, inaugurates and blesses the start of the new season. summer.
It was precisely Mr. Cirillo who began the first expansion just a few years after the inauguration, to which numerous other internal renovations would be made in the following decades, transforming our Pensione San Giorgio into a hotel, a point of reference for all guests of Vieste, a town that has always been recognized as the ''Pearl of the Gargano''.
With the death of Mr. Leopoldo, the project was inherited by his daughter Rosanna, who together with her husband Michele, do not stop investing all their efforts to improve and qualitatively expand the offer of the San Giorgio hotel, thus meeting to all new needs and giving its guests the experience of a holiday of pure pleasure.
In 2017, hand in hand with this generational change and a new renovation, only the facade and the internal staircase remain of the original building, while the rest has been adapted to the needs of a *** comfort.
With the latest renovation, the interior design of all our 30 rooms has been renewed. Rooms that no longer represent a simple refuge where you can spend the night, but that tell and smell of all the love we want to convey to our guests.
Today it is possible to experience the enthusiasm of the San Giorgio Hotel from the first moments of arrival in Vieste, thanks to the genuine and sincere welcome of our staff, who will be able to make you feel in this extraordinary village of the Gargano, a bit like at home!
We are waiting for you!
