D'Aquino Castle

Photo Gallery

Informations

The D'Aquino Castle of Rocchetta Sant'Antonio was designed by the architect Francesco Di Giorgio Martini. Its construction ended in 1507.

Although the d'Aquino castle is fortified enough to repel any attempted attack, the rationale behind its construction is not about defense. In fact, it was built for the splendor of the noble house of the D'Aquino
