The nativity scene exhibition returns to Foggia on time for Christmas. Organized by the ODV ‘Artistic Nativity Scenes of Foggia’, the exhibition ‘Nativity Scenes on the Corso’ will be inaugurated on December 6th at 7 pm and can be visited on Corso Vittorio Emanuele at number 23 until January 6th according to the following times: from 10 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm on holidays and the days before holidays, from 5 pm to 8 pm on weekdays. Entry is free. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Foggia.
“We will showcase –the organizers explain– three-dimensional sets with the study of perspective (dioramas) and nativity scenes in the round that portray moments of the Advent and, of course, the Nativity. At our request, the statues that animate the scenes are entirely handcrafted by internationally renowned sculptors. The mission is to rediscover the True Christmas with its values and traditions in the center of our city”.
