**On Saturday, 19 September 2026, Stornarella celebrates the 10th edition of “I Fuochi di San Pio”, a festival dedicated to fireworks, traditions and entertainment. The programme will feature four competing companies, two additional fireworks displays and, for the first time, a spectacular drone show.**

Ten years of lights, colours and emotions with all eyes turned towards the sky. On **Saturday, 19 September 2026**, starting at **8:00 pm**, the centre of **Stornarella** will host the 10th edition of **“I Fuochi di San Pio”**, an event that over the years has become a much-awaited celebration for the local community and visitors.

The festival will combine **fireworks, folklore, local traditions, markets and food and wine**, transforming the town centre into a large space dedicated to entertainment and celebration.

## Four competing companies and two additional fireworks displays

To celebrate the milestone **10th edition**, this year's programme will be even richer.

**Four companies will compete** with spectacular traditional **“batterie alla bolognese” fireworks displays**, a distinctive form of Italian pyrotechnic art combining rhythm, intensity and spectacular effects in the night sky.

The competition will be complemented by **two additional fireworks displays**, offering the audience an even more extensive programme throughout the evening.

## A new drone show

One of the major new features of the 2026 edition will be a spectacular **drone show**, appearing at the festival for the first time.

Lights and aerial choreographies will accompany the fireworks programme, transforming the sky above Stornarella into a huge open-air stage and offering visitors a new visual experience to celebrate the festival's tenth anniversary.

## Ten years in memory of Pietro

Once again, **“I Fuochi di San Pio” pays tribute to Pietro**, remembered as the heart and the first great dreamer behind this event.

The 10th edition celebrates not only an important milestone for the festival but also its origins and the strong connection it has built with the local community over the years.
