“Il cielo siamo noi”: Rosy Daniello’s Solo Exhibition at Fondazione dei Monti Uniti

On Friday, September 12, 2025, at 6:30 PM, the Rosa del Vento hall of the Fondazione dei Monti Uniti in Foggia will host the opening of Rosy Daniello’s solo exhibition, Il cielo siamo noi, curated by Katia Ricci.

The exhibition will be open to the public until October 3, 2025, in the Foundation’s gallery, from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with free admission.

Part of the Foundation’s long-standing cultural program, the show continues a tradition of more than thirty years of support for contemporary visual arts and local talent, fostering dialogue, reflection, and cultural growth.

“Rosy Daniello’s exhibition further enriches the cultural scene of Foggia and the region,” says Filippo Santigliano, president of the Foundation, “confirming our commitment to contemporary art as a tool for beauty and community engagement.”

Curator Katia Ricci highlights how Daniello’s works establish a conversation with women, writers, and intellectuals past and present, translating inspiration into an artistic language that embraces contradictions, personal and collective pain, and the joy of creation.

The Artist

Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome under renowned masters such as Guttuso, Maccari, and Guccione, Rosy Daniello held her first solo exhibition in 1970 with works addressing anti-racist and environmental themes. Over the years, she has developed significant series including Frammenti, Grafemi, Memoriale, Le porte della scrittura, and Le lettere del mio nome, exhibited across Italy.

Since 2006, she has carried on the cycle Tra la terra e il cielo, a synthesis of her artistic journey where painting becomes a means of processing individual and collective emotions.

With Il cielo siamo noi, Daniello presents a new chapter in her artistic exploration, weaving a dialogue between art, community, and shared memory.
