Plot of the Show

The protagonists are Ermanno and Giuditta Bellavista, a married couple who own a pastry shop where they also live with Ermanno's mother, who suffers from health issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure. However, behind the facade of this ordinary family lie secrets: Ermanno has a secret affair with Romina, who is tired of hiding their love and presses him to reveal everything to his family. Giuditta is not without her own secrets either; she is involved in a clandestine relationship with Aldo, the pastry chef at their shop, who is not truly in love with her but is only interested in her wealth.

Meanwhile, another mystery unfolds: three months prior, Ermanno received a cornea transplant from a homeless man named Carmine, who was believed to be dead after a car accident. In reality, Carmine was merely in a coma, and upon awakening, he finds himself blind. Upon discovering this, Carmine manages to reach Ermanno's pastry shop and reveals the truth, explaining that the surgeon responsible for the operation, Professor Rubelli, is involved in shady organ trafficking. Carmine decides to stay in the pastry shop, insisting that Ermanno, now possessing his eyes, must "see life for him."
