2024-2025 Theater Season Launch at Teatro dei Limoni: Contemporary Drama and Family Shows

The Teatro dei Limoni in Foggia is set to kick off its 2024-2025 theater season, supported by the Fondazione dei Monti Uniti, with an extensive lineup of performances across two series: "Giallocoraggioso", dedicated to adult audiences, and "Merende da Favola", designed for families and young children. Running from October to April, the season offers 45 performances, showcasing contemporary drama, comedies, and children’s productions.

Giallocoraggioso – Drama Series for Adults

Now approaching its twentieth season, the "Giallocoraggioso" series features eight productions, including both in-house and guest performances.

October 11-13: Opening with Il guardiano by Harold Pinter, a production by Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo in collaboration with Teatro dei Limoni and Teatro del Sangro, starring and directed by Roberto Galano and Stefano Angelucci Marino.

November 16-17: Letizia Forever by Rosario Palazzolo, performed by nationally acclaimed actor Salvatore Nocera.

November 30 - December 1: Special showcase of Flusso, a work by Foggia playwright Christian di Furia, presented in a studio format with actors Lino Guanciale and Gianmarco Saurino.

December 20-30: Return of Allegro con Rancore by Leonardo Losavio, one of Teatro dei Limoni’s most humorous and surreal productions, featuring live music.

January 25-26: Io Accuso, an adaptation of Processo a Dio by Stefano Massini, back by popular demand.

February 14-16: Cyrano. L’ombra del mio naso, a reimagined classic by Roberto Galano, emblematic of Teatro dei Limoni’s style.

March 9: Giardino d’autunno, a special feature from San Severo’s Spazio Off.

March 22-23: Esercizi di Resurrezione by Lorenzo Guerrieri, winner of the 2023 Inventaria Festival.

April 11-13: Season finale with In the Mood for Marilyn by Letizia Amoreo, showcasing Maggie Salice in a solo debut with choreography by Pau Aran.

Merende da Favola – Family Series

Merende da Favola presents seven shows for children, filled with captivating tales and fun-filled experiences.

October 5-6: Opening with Il mio nome è Cattivo, Lupo Cattivo by Roberto Moretto.

October 31 - November 3: Il ritorno degli Acchiappafantasmi by Christian di Furia.

December 6-8: Canto di Natale, adapted and directed by Paola Capuano.

January 3-6: Aladin e la lampada magica, directed by Maggie Salice.

February 1-2: Debut of Tutti lo chiamavano Signor Hood, written by Christian di Furia and directed by Francesca De Sandoli.

March 1-2: Il cinema di Marcovaldo, inspired by Italo Calvino’s work and directed by Paola Capuano.

April 5-6: Season conclusion with Verso l’infinito e oltre by Christian di Furia.
