EXPORT: DA FOGGIA PARTE LA SFIDA DELL’AGROALIMENTARE PUGLIESE

On June 11, 2026, Foggia will host an international conference focused on business opportunities for Apulian agri-food companies in the Chinese market. Among the featured companies will be Fiordelisi, a true ambassador of Made in Puglia worldwide.

FOGGIA, ITALY – The opportunities offered by the Chinese market to Apulian agri-food companies will be the focus of the international conference “Italian Food and Feed CIIE 2026 Promotion – Agri-food Excellence of Puglia”, scheduled for June 11, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce of Foggia.

Organized in collaboration with Coldiretti Puglia, the event will bring together Italian and Chinese institutions, banking representatives, agricultural organizations and export-oriented companies to promote the internationalization of Puglia’s food production and strengthen trade relations with one of the world's most important markets.

The conference will feature high-level institutional representatives, including Zhang Lubiao, Ambassador of the Permanent Representation for Food and Agriculture of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations and the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, and Xu Yu Hong, First Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Rome.

Participants will also include Graziamaria Starace, Councillor for Promotion of the Puglia Region, Giuseppe Nobiletti, President of the Province of Foggia, Maria Aida Episcopo, Mayor of Foggia, and Giuseppe Di Carlo, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Foggia, alongside executives from Bank of China and ICBC Bank.

Special attention will be given to successful export experiences from leading companies already operating internationally. Among them, Fiordelisi S.r.l., represented by Antonio Fiordelisi, stands out as a true ambassador of Apulian agri-food excellence, promoting the quality, authenticity and innovation of Made in Puglia products across global markets.

Other participating companies include Italgel S.p.A. and Oleificio Cericola, which will share their export experiences and growth strategies in international markets.

The conference will also provide practical insights into export procedures, health regulations, certifications and financial tools necessary for accessing the Chinese market, making it a valuable opportunity for networking and business development.
