The art collective "Il Vincolo" opens on April 4th at 6:00 PM in the Sala Grigia of the Palazzetto dell'Arte in Foggia. Twenty-four artists are participating in this project, which is part of the "Progetto Libro" launched in 2022 by the 'Spazio 55 Arte Contemporanea' group and curated by Katia Berlantini.
The concept behind "Il Vincolo" involves intervening on an object, reinterpreting its potential alternative use. As the curator Katia Berlantini explains, the project is an experiment in which the constraint does not come from the theme but from the material to be transformed, imposing a specific form and material to work with. This process, which is unavoidable, reflects how each artist approaches the tangible and visible. "Il vincolo" is not a restriction, but an opportunity for creative acts that stimulate reflection and the interpretation of the object.
The exhibition will be open until April 19th and is part of the event '100 days for legality and the fight against the mafia,' organized by the Department of Legality of the Municipality of Foggia.
