A historic show, the first comedy that the Compagnia Enarchè brought to the stage of the Teatro Regio di Capitanata: Saturday, January 20, 2024 will return to the stage 'Nu sandë sope a terrë, a comedy written over 30 years ago by Michele Norillo, actor and author who for decades has cheered and - together - made Foggia’s audience reflect (and not only).
The plot of the play. A story at first sight ancient, yet still current: the protagonist of the comedy is Agostino (Giovanni Mancini), a slacker who tries all of them not to work, pretending to be disabled in a wheelchair. Except then, for distraction, get up and start running... But this sudden (obviously fake) healing pushes ours to cry the miracle. The story goes on because Augustine, along with other swindlers like him, takes advantage of popular credulity by taking money from the unfortunate. Nu sandë sope a terrë is a fraud of devotion, but told naturally with a smile and laughter. The group of actors on the stage is very experienced: Giovanni Mancini, Mirna Colecchia, Antonio Cappiello, Cinzia Citarelli, He advises Albanese, Mimmo Mazza. And - recalls Giovanni Mancini, who is the protagonist of the show - 'Nu sandë sope a terrë has a particular meaning, since it was the first in which he debuted as an actor.
And, let’s add, he has not stopped since so far he has acted in almost 90 theatrical performances, with many incursions also in the cinema (finally, a part in the film Come può un scoglio dei comici foggiani Pio e Amedeo).
