Informations

The Swabian Angevin castle of Bisceglie was built during the Norman period, on the initiative of Count Pietro I, starting from the 11th century.

The castle of Bisceglie includes the church of San Giovanni to the north-east, characterized by a gabled façade.

Since 1982, several restoration works have been carried out, which were only completed in 2016. Today it is an important reference point for the city.
