33° Argos Hippium Award 2026

There is a thread that unites talent, belonging, and pride in one’s territory. For over thirty years, this thread has woven together the stories told by the Argos Hippium Award, which is set to return on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the suggestive setting of the Siponto Archaeological Park for a new evening dedicated to the excellence of Daunia. Now in its 33rd edition, the Award represents one of the most prestigious events in Capitanata, created to pay tribute to women, men, and organizations that, through their work, have distinguished themselves in the fields of culture, research, business, entertainment, sustainability, and social commitment, helping to promote the region well beyond local borders.

Among the most anticipated moments of the evening will be the presentation of the Special Award for 25 years of career to Pio and Amedeo, who return to the Argos Hippium stage after the recognition they received in 2013. The 2026 edition will also open with an intense tribute to the memory of the Foggia-born videomaker Gianpier Clima, who will be honored with a Special Award.

The recognition will also be awarded to Francesca Delle Vergini, Cristina Faienza, Alfonso Filippone, Alfonso Balsamo, Mecna, Osvaldo Supino, GEST, Oasi Laguna del Re, and numerous other protagonists who, each in their own field, represent examples of talent, innovation, and dedication. More than an award ceremony, the Argos Hippium Award is a collective narrative of success, roots, and identity: an event that every year shines a spotlight on those who contribute, through their personal journeys, to building the best face of Daunia.
