CUNZ! Gargano Food Fest

From May 29 to 31, Rignano Garganico hosts CUNZ! Gargano Food Fest, a widespread event that combines food and wine, workshops, excursions, performances, and in-depth experiences dedicated to the area’s finest local products.

The festival was created to build a bridge between past and future, placing people, community, and the culture of local produce and territory at its center. The program unfolds over three packed days of events, with activities for adults, families, and school groups.

It begins on May 29 with visits to the Paglicci educational farm, workshops, live cooking shows, traditional games, village tours, tastings, masterclasses, and evening performances featuring a live concert and DJ set.

May 30 also offers a wide range of experiences, including guided hikes, creative writing workshops, traditional sweets, live radio broadcasts, cyanotype printing, fresh pasta making, experimental archaeology, and an evening of music and theatrical performances.

On May 31, the festival continues with excursions, taste workshops, extra-virgin olive oil courses, live painting, tastings, cooking shows, and a rich music program running late into the night.

Among the festival’s recurring highlights are the food and wine trail with local agricultural businesses, the kids’ area, the Grotta Paglicci Visitor Center open throughout the event, and the photo exhibition at the Municipal Library.

CUNZ! is presented as a celebration of the Gargano to be experienced with all the senses, through authentic flavors, landscapes, creativity, and participation.
