La Vieste en Rose 2026

“A city that raises a toast.” With this spirit, La Vieste en Rose returns, the wine and food event dedicated to rosé wine, which symbolically marks the beginning of the summer season in Apulia.

The 7th edition will take place on Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 7:00 PM, transforming the charming historic center of Vieste, in the Gargano area, into a vibrant open-air wine experience filled with tastings, music and cultural encounters.

The new feature: partnership with Gambero Rosso

The main novelty of the 2026 edition is the collaboration between the Municipality of Vieste and Gambero Rosso, one of the most influential authorities in the Italian and international food and wine sector.

This partnership will bring high-level editorial content and thematic insights into the event, strengthening its national relevance. For the occasion, five national journalists will explore the territory and tell the story of Vieste, its landscapes and its food and wine traditions.

Professional masterclass

On June 1st, a B2B masterclass led by a curator of the “Vini d’Italia 2026” and “Bere Bene 2026” guides by Gambero Rosso will also take place.

Reserved for journalists, restaurateurs and industry professionals, the tasting will feature some of the best Apulian rosé-producing wineries, offering an in-depth look at the characteristics and evolution of rosé wines.

Wine tasting through the historic town

The highlight of the event will be the large evening wine tasting open to the public, which will animate the streets of the historic center of Vieste.

Visitors will be able to discover selected rosé wines chosen by Gambero Rosso, along with food areas dedicated to Apulian traditional products. Wineries from Apulia, other Italian regions and abroad will take part, creating a sensory journey through vineyards, cultures and traditions.

Street performers and musicians will entertain visitors throughout the old town, while the evening will conclude with the final concert at Marina Piccola, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

Celebrating the Mediterranean rosé culture

According to Giuseppe Carrus, curator of the Vini d’Italia guide by Gambero Rosso, rosé wine perfectly expresses the Mediterranean spirit: a balance of light, freshness and drinkability, deeply connected to the landscape itself.

In Apulia, rosé wine is traditionally produced from grapes such as Negroamaro, Bombino Nero and Nero di Troia, making the Gargano area a natural setting for telling the story of this iconic wine style.

Organization

La Vieste en Rose is organized by the Municipality of Vieste, in collaboration with Gambero Rosso and One Eventi, with the support of AIS Puglia, IPEOA Enrico Mattei Vieste, Gelman Srl, TicketSms and Tema.

Over the years, the event has become one of the most important rosé wine celebrations in Southern Italy, attracting wine lovers, professionals and visitors from all over the country.
