The Bari-based company Piccola Ribalta returns to the stage with “Vicini troppo Vicini,” a new sparkling comedy that arrives at Politeama Italia in Bisceglie after the success of Mi Separo 1 and Mi Separo 2. It is a lively ensemble show built on misunderstandings, eccentric characters, and surreal situations that turn an ordinary apartment building into a small universe full of laughter.
At the center of the story is Rosa Lavopa, a convinced but not entirely convinced single woman, around whom a quirky and colorful cast revolves: Sandra and Marco, a couple of dancers in crisis; Lina, a kindly elderly woman targeted by the cold cruelty of her neighbor Bruno; Carlo, a handsome plumber; and Dr. Ruotolo, a doctor who graduated in Bari after passing the entrance tests. Together, they shape an ordinary day in the urban suburbs, made hilarious by the accidental presence of a washing machine, the true comic engine of the whole plot.
The show is directed by Franco Spadaro, and on stage will be Simonetta Paolillo, Daniela Pellicciaro, Fabiano Marti, Gianna Pellicciaro, Mimmo Altini, and Vincenzo Solla.
