With great enthusiasm, we announce the return of FèXtra, the celebration of extra virgin olive oil, which this year marks its fourth anniversary! The event will take place in Mattinata from October 11th to 20th, and in this edition dedicated to 'roots tourism,' the central theme will indeed be roots.
Mayor Michele Bisceglia and the Agriculture Councilor, Rosanna Ciuffreda, provincial representative of the national association Città dell’Olio, emphasize the importance of roots as the profound identity of a territory. Roots represent the inseparable bond between people and their land, the millennia-old traditions passed down from generation to generation, and the foundations upon which the community is built.
With FèXtra, Mattinata and its community aim to celebrate their roots, the identity that drives development, beauty, and the future.
