Teatro comunale ‘Lucio Dalla’ di Manfredonia, la stagione 2024-2025

The 2024-2025 theater season, "EreTICA," at the Lucio Dalla Municipal Theater in Manfredonia, will run from November 17 to April 23, 2025. Sponsored by the Municipality of Manfredonia and Puglia Culture in collaboration with Bottega degli Apocrifi, this season features an impressive lineup of 20 performances, including plays, family shows, events for schools, and training programs for educators and the public.

The prose lineup includes classic and contemporary works, such as Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s Coppia aperta quasi spalancata (An Open Couple), with a vibrant reinterpretation by Chiara Francini and Alessandro Federico, as well as Luigi Pirandello’s Uno, nessuno e centomila (One, No One, and One Hundred Thousand). The season also includes an adaptation of Nicola Lagioia’s La Ferocia (The Ferocity), brought to the stage by the Vico Quarto Mazzini company.

International and modern productions are also featured, such as Amour by Marie de Johgh and the choreography piece R.OSA. 10 esercizi per nuovi virtuosismi (10 Exercises for New Virtuosity) by Silvia Gribaudi, offering a humorous take on body positivity and freedom. Family shows include Jack and the Beanstalk and Donkey Skin, while a series of educational performances are set for schools, focusing on engaging, inclusive themes.

EreTICA also provides an extensive learning experience with seven theatrical workshops, a training course for educators, and two audience development programs, creating a fully immersive theater experience with discussions and insights on both artistic and social topics.
