Archpriest Church of San Giovanni Battista
Informations
The archpriest church of San Giovanni Battista, located in the historic center of Motta Montecorvino, was built during the fifteenth century, but was subsequently remodeled during the eighteenth century.
The church of San Giovanni Battista has a stone facade, while the left side is characterized by the Gothic bell tower from 1447. Most likely the bell tower was transformed from one of the towers of the original city walls. Currently the bell tower is the only remaining tower of the town's ancient walls.
