The Historical Museum of the Firefighters of the Italian Red Cross is one of the largest and most fascinating museums in the world. It is located in Manfredonia, a place where adults and children will be enchanted by the large and evocative display of 80 uniforms, which date back to the first half of the 19th century until the end of the 20th century.

Along the way you can admire all kinds of finds, medals, publications, vehicles and equipment, many of which are unique in the world, which belonged to the Firefighters and the Italian Red Cross in various historical periods. All this in a spectacular setting that surrounds you, captures you and immerses you in the history of these glorious bodies that have saved countless lives for years.

The Historical Museum of the Firefighters of the Italian Red Cross consists of four different pavilions, each dedicated to a piece of the history of the Firefighters and the Italian Red Cross. Each pavilion was designed and cared for down to the smallest detail by Michele Guerra and expertly rebuilt by the craftsman Sipontino Master of ax Antonio Berardinetti.

The atmosphere that has been recreated in this way for each single environment is truly enchanting, so much so that it leaves everyone ecstatic! The museum itinerary is spread over 2,500 square meters totally covered where about 3,000 finds, all original and some unique in the world, are exhibited.

Remarkable the display of uniforms, documents, vehicles, equipment and accessories as well as the possibility of interactive educational and explanatory paths created with concepts such as to make the path fascinating and engaging for adults and children, a journey through time that tells the historical evolution, culture and technology of our country in terms of safety and prevention, fire fighting and first aid as well as the dissemination of civic commitment on the issues of safety and health in the workplace.
