 “ANIMA”: An Art Exhibition in Orsara di Puglia Celebrating the Fucacoste Tradition


**From October 30, 2026, to January 10, 2027, Palazzo De Gregorio will host an exhibition featuring works by eight Italian artists created during the FUOCO artist residency.**


On **Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM**, **“ANIMA – A Retrospective of FUOCO”** will open in **Orsara di Puglia**, celebrating the ancient tradition of *Fucacoste e Cocce priatorje*. This traditional event, held every November 1, brings the village to life with bonfires, carved pumpkins, and rituals dedicated to remembering the deceased.


Hosted at **Palazzo De Gregorio, Via Mentana 3**, the exhibition presents a selection of the most significant artworks created between 2022 and 2025 during the four editions of **FUOCO**, an artist residency dedicated to exploring the cultural and symbolic heritage of the Fucacoste tradition.
