Cantico di Natale: Between Classical Music and Tradition at Palazzo Vives Frisari
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM, the splendid Palazzo Vives Frisari at Via Ottavio Tupputi n. 13 in Bisceglie (BT) will host an unmissable musical event presented by Artevives aps: the concert "Cantico di Natale: Between Classical Music and Tradition."
This special evening celebrates the magic of Christmas through music, featuring a repertoire of traditional songs that evoke childhood memories, the warmth of family, and the festive atmosphere of the holidays. Mezzo-soprano Margherita Rotondi and pianist Vincenzo Cicchelli will guide the audience on a unique musical journey, performing pieces ranging from ancient and popular melodies to more lively and festive compositions.
The program includes famous Christmas songs from various eras and cultures, arranged for voice and piano, along with lesser-known but extraordinarily charming compositions. A highlight of the evening will be the performance of a new piece by the Bari-born composer Massimo De Lillo, set to a text by Umberto Saba, created for the “La musica di Sofia” project, directed by Guido Di Leone.
The entire musical anthology has been recorded at the Mast Recording Studio in Bari under the supervision of Massimo Stano and will be released in December 2024 by Abeat Records.
