The legendary The Wailers with “50 Years of Positive Vibrations”, a free concert celebrating half a century of reggae and universal messages of resistance, spirituality and hope.
A special event that brings to Carpino the energy of a band that is a symbol of world musical history, in the name of Bob Marley and his timeless legacy.
The tour pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of “Rastaman Vibration”, an album released in 1976 and considered a milestone in reggae, with songs such as Positive Vibration, Roots, Rock, Reggae and War still very relevant today. Led by Aston Barrett Jr, son of the legendary Aston “Familyman” Barrett, the Wailers continue to carry on their sound with authenticity and respect for their roots, joined by the intense vocals of Mitchell Brunings.
The event is scheduled for 9:00 pm in Carpino, at Via Mazzini 201, as part of the Carpino in Folk Festival.
